Biography
After a year of guitar lessons that
never progressed beyond "Michael Rowed the Boat Ashore", Andrew's
mother asked (well, told is more accurate) him if he would like to
play the cello. After responding with "What's that?", his life changed
- years of cello lessons, orchestra concerts, and schooling have
driven him to what he does now - composition. He works in a variety of
styles, ensembles, and moods; learning from professors at the
University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton School of Music. He has composed
for dancers, woodwind quintets, choir, orchestra, solo instruments and
voices, and duos.
